For the first four years of the scheme, you will not be permitted to be absent from the UK for more than 180-days per year or 90-days in the fifth year. However, this still affords plenty of time to travel for business and pleasure year-round.
Investment required for the UK Tier 1 Visa scheme

However, there are additional benefits on offer to those who pledge more outstanding financial capital. Those who invest £2 million can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) – residence without immigration restrictions – after five years in the country.
If you pledge £5 million in a UK business, the requirement is reduced to just three years, and a £10 million investment allows you to apply for ILR after just two years in the UK.
After 12 months of ILR, you can apply for full British citizenship – enjoying all the benefits, including the freedom to travel to many attractive global destinations.
However, this only applies to the direct visa holder, and dependents will have to wait the standard five years to apply for full citizenship.
